We are looking to recruit a caring, compassionate and motivated Night Care Worker to join our friendly residential care home team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with an interest in care work who wants to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
About the Role
As a Night Care Worker, you will support our residents to feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. You will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and homely environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care, always maintaining dignity and respect
- Assisting with moving and handling in a safe and supportive way
- Helping with meal and drink preparation as required
- Providing assistance with medication, in line with training and guidance
- Supporting individuals living with dementia, offering reassurance and understanding
- Encouraging participation in meaningful activities where appropriate
- Working as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive environment
- Following guidance and care plans, including direction from professionals such as GPs, physiotherapists and nurses
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is kind, patient and empathetic
- Has a genuine interest in supporting others
- Is reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is able to follow guidance and maintain high standards of care
Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
