Required for September 2026, or as soon as possible, a permanent, full-time, excellent practitioner who is ready to take on responsibility for the leadership of provision for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, in our purpose designed specialist provision.
Situated on the site of Ysgol Glan-Y-Môr, Canolfan-Y-Môr is a specialist setting that supports the education of pupils, with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, aged 11-16. The centre has four classes with varied needs and the successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of teachers and support staff to ensure all pupils receive the best possible educational experience. The role will carry a minimal teaching commitment as all classes will have their own teacher.
We are looking for a well-qualified, inspirational and motivated teacher and leader who is committed to working with pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and has the necessary skills to lead and inspire a team of staff to secure excellent standards within our centre. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and contribute in an environment that prides itself on working collaboratively to maximize the potential of all its pupils.
